if you have a scope in a larue mount, would it matter if you took it off the rifle everytime you put it in the safe? i know the better mounts are supposed to keep it at zero, but i'm kinda running out of room in the safe.. dont wanna bang it up.. what do you guys do?

Shouldn't be a problem if you put it back in the same slots on the rail each time.  LaRue has a good reputation for RTZ.  You'd want to shoot a few test shots to make sure nothing's shifted, but I do that even with scopes I haven't removed.
