I am going to get a TA-33 and cannot decide which color. I have limited exp. with the amber (reflex) Anyone got exp. or prefrence?

Or wait for the green horseshoe

Amber. Do a little research and you will find the eye picks up that color easier than red. In all environments. In fact I think that info is on Trijicons site.

I like the amber better than the red BUT I have a touch of red/green colorblindness.

My first two ACOGs were amber.
I know what the Trijicon websites says about amber being a better choice and
it all made sense after several years of physics where we studied the properties of light.

But I kept reading about guys saying they prefered red.
So when a good deal came up for one that was red I decided to try it out.
I now prefer red, sold my amber units and even purchased a second red one.

I'd say try to get together with some people who have both and use them in diffrent lighting conditions......

My experience is limited with the amber acogs and while i can pick it up the red just seems easier to me......
