I was wanting to purchase an Aimpoint CompM4s from Botach since they have the cheapest prices.  I keep seeing alot of bad customer service stories.  Does anyone know of another cheap source for Aimpoints.  I'm in Texas and want to order from out of state to avoid sales tax.

I have also heard some bad stories about Botach but I have never ever had a single problem with them and I have orderd probably 5 different times from them.  I think alot of the problems stem from them not having items in stock.  If you want to order from them maybe call or email first to make sure its in stock, if so I would order with no hesitation.

 Were your orders shipped quickly?

I have ordered 2x from them and got the products within 5 days.  That is from CA to NC.  Lots of people here don't like them.  I personally have not had a problem.  I have been tempted to get an Acog from them.

Botach provides poor customer service when there are issues. They also have little to no communication.

If you are patient, they are a fantastic value. When items are in-stock, the service is fine. Buck over in the botach forum can help you track the status of your orders - he canceled an order for me after I got impatient waiting for an ML3 to get in stock. I've ordered some misc. gear, pelican cases, clothing, etc. and when in stock I get it quickly. When not in stock... well you have to hound them for a status update.

I have ordered from botach 3 times over the past five years.  I have never done it online.  I had always called to make sure what I was ordering was in stock.  I agree that on some items their prices can be quite amazing.  During their christmas sale in '07 they had factory new hicap glock mags for $11.  I have never had a problem with them.  They shipped fast (3-5 business days to Ohio) and everything arrived in perfect condition.  I would never hesitate to order from them.  In fact my only complaint is that I wish they carried more of the high end AR accessories that we all want.  Give them a shot, if they don't deliver let your credit card company take care of it for you, that is what they are there for.

Call them, ask if it's in stock and then order it if it is. I've ordered a TA33R-8 and two pelican cases.  Delivered within days and never a problem.

It makes people feel like they fit in if they all rag on the same place without experiencing it themselves.

I've ordered from their main site and their Gov/LEO sight (www.kleyzion.com) numerous times and have never had an issue.  Anytime something was not in stock I received a call from them the same day or day after.  Each time they altered or canceled my order without issue.  I'd recommend them to anyone based on my personal experiences.

That being said, a friend of mine ordered a pair of Camelback gloves that were out of stock and then I think were discontinued.  So apperently his order was forgotten.  He called them and they cleared it up for him (not really sure what the final resolution was though).

Call first. They will charge your card even if the item is out of stock, and will not notify you of that fact.
