All I can say is I have a 16" carbine Bushmaster .450 with the Comp ML3 and its spot on after sighting in.  Its almost unfair haha

I went w/the H-1 on my 16" STG-556's for several reasons:
1) Weight (H-1 w/mount is about 1/3 the weight of the ML3 w/mount).
2) Rail space (I have limited rail space on the STG's so the H-1 allows me to have folding BUIS).
3) Less FOV obstruction (ie: less "looking through a tube" effect).

However, w/that being said the ML3 is excellent, I've owned/used 'em before.

H1 w/LT 66X tall riser is roughly the same price as an ML3 with mount.  IMHO go with the H-1 w/LT mount.

Go with a H1 IMHO.

I have an ML3 that I am trying to replace with an H1 or T1, but I want to see if i can get a LaRue mount for it first.

The ML3 is an awesome optic, so dont think its bad, but the H1 and T1 are aresome optics, that do EVERYTHING that the ML3 can, and it weighs less, and is less obtrusive, and uses MUCH more common batteries
