I just ordered a Bushnell 4200 1.25-4 scope and would like some help picking a mount. It is going on a flat top with rifle length ff hand guard. I want to keep the mount on the receiver, not the handguard. I was looking at the Larue SPR-E and the ADM recon-X. I have my choice of a YHM or MATECH buis. I am looking for a mount that will clear either of these. I would like to keep the YHM, but it is higher than the MATECH. Does anyone know if this would work with the buis that I have? Also would these mounts provide proper eye relief for someone who shoots slightly behind the charging handle? Thank you

If LaRue is an option, LaRue is the answer.

If you shoot behind the charging handle you have no need for SPR-E cost or weight.  Get SPR or SPR-S.  You could use a SPR-E and have room for the YHM BUIS but youd be shooting NTCH with the scope mounted far enough forward to leave room for the BUIS.  If yo uwant to shoot behind the charging handle yo uneed the BUIS to fit under the rear of the scope and shoul duse the Maetech.
