I'll say the ARMS 40 has sold more units than any other.

I'm sure they have, but Troy is the better sight.

I have both the Troy and ARMS.  My next rifle will have troy.  Plus the Troy is "black" and the ARMS is "gray" for those that may care.  I have other ARMS stuff for my guns and it is very good quality but I always kind of wished it was BLACK for my black rifles.

It's tacticool gucci gear.  Such insolence will be struck down by the airsoft kids.

Who has the pic of the fat kid decked out playing airsoft?

The Troy has several things going for it, depending on what you like.

- It's one of the lower BUIS', so will fit under more scope/mount combos.  The ARMS 40 is one of the highest, and there are very, very few scope/mount combos it will fit under (the 40L is lower, but still higher than the Troy).
- The large aperture is active when flipped up.
- The apertures are same-plane for no zero shift
- The apertures are the same size as the mil-spec A2 apertures
- The windage adjustment is low profile and shrouded so it doesn't get knocked out of adjustment easily
- It locks in the up position - It's well made and solid
- Low profile clamping screw

Some of these are personal preference - some people like their windage knob to be easily adjustable, but for a combat sight, it's better to have it stay in the zeroed position. That's why they offer the locking version, too, but the wheel's already pretty well shrouded.

That's what people like about the Troy.  It's also very solid and well made, but so is the ARMS.
