I have a DPMS LR308 that I just mounted a scope on.
The mount is this one: http://www.commandarms.com/product.asp?pID=175&cID=22 I am using a Bushnell Legend 5x-15x http://www.opticsplanet.net/bu-5-15x40m-legend.html Using that scope, I have to use the bushing provided by CAA with that mount. The problem I am having is there is ALOT of scope slide. After every shot the scope slides forward about a milimeter. I have the mount tightened as tight as it goes and am still having the issue. I had heard that the DVSR mount was a good mount, did I just get a bad one? |

First step is to contact where you got the parts from, something aint right. If you get no joy there, its time for another mount.
Redneck fix, put a wrap of tinfoil around the scope inside the mount as shim stock. Not real high speed low drag, but should make it usable untill you get return authorization from either company. |

Look in to a better quailty mount like a larue and you would not have any problems.
Like this one. http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=30 |

Look here, it has a complete review on the DVSR. I think it was done by a member on here Maxicon, if IIRC. Here
It seems that the 1" adapter doesnt provide enough clamping force from the top half of the ring to hold the scope firmly in place, especially under recoil. |
