My eyes continue to go bad, and I cannot shoot post sights very well for more than 40-50 rounds.  I can shoot aperture front sights for about twice that, before my eyes get tired.  So, I am thinking of making a windage adjustable A2 FSB using a Lyman Globe Front Target Sight #17.  KNS offers aperture type front sight inserts; I am looking for something along the lines of a target type aperture FSB.

Before I get too involved with this, is one available already?

Here is an example of the Lyman sight.

I don't know if they're windage adjustable, but any HP shop that caters to match rifles will have front sights with various inserts available.

These attach to the barrel, not a std FSB.  They are also a bit delicate, so definitely not for use on a gun that won't be babied.

They are elevation adjustable, but again, I don't think they're windage adjustable.  But you to be able to take care of the windage with the rear sight.

Sinclair's

Tubb

Creedmore

Just google "High Power" and go from there.

Thanks, Jmart.

I know of these sights, and I should mentioned it.  I have been fortunate enough to shoot several match rifles with these, and talk about easy to hit the target!, even for me....off a rest.  I am not much in shooting from HP positions; as a matter of fact, I am downright lousy at it...all 8s, 9s, and a few 10s.  Where the heck did the "X" go?!?!?

I have this wild hair to have a four setscrew, windage adjustable, aperture, A2 FSB on my next build: SPR or SDM Match, 1:8 poly.
