Going to buy an Aimpoint compM3, who makes the best mounts?

Larue. Consider buying the optic and mount from Larue Tactical- it may well save you some money...

Larue was a major Aimpoint seller last year, and likely will do even more in 08.

Not that I add much weight to this converstaion after a Pat Rogers comment, but I agree with Pat.  LaRue hands down make probably the best mounts out there.  I have carried LaRue mounts ( for the ACOG as well as the Aimpoint M2 and M4) in the sandbox for several tours and will not use anything else.

Wait a minute...there's other mounts out there OTHER than Larue?!  That's just crazy talk.

Larue all the way.
