| Hi guys, I went to the range today to sight in my ACOG on my rifle. I know that this is a AR-15 Forum and my Rifle is a SIG556, so please no bashing I need help. The ACOG is a TA31RCO-M4CP made for the 16in barrel size. It is mounted on a La Rue Lt 100 mount made for the ACOG. I did not bore sight the scope first before I went to Range, I did not think it would be far off. I was not even hitting a 2ftx2ft Target at 100yrds. I do not know even where I was hitting it was that far off! Do I have to get a Laser bore sighter? or do any of you know any tricks that would help. I need to get on paper. The ACOG IS MOUNTED GOOD and tight no movement. Please advise Thanks. Wedgeman |

I took the upper off set it on a counter looking outside. look down the barrel at something in the distance without moving the upper adjust the scope to be on the same object double check a few time and you should be good to go. Of course this assumes the 556 upper comes off and the barrel can be looked through |
