Howdy,

I recently bought a T1 and am seeing a red ring around the edge of the optic in addition to the red dot. Is this typical? I want to make sure the product is not defective.

It's normal, mine does it to at times. try turning down the brightness a little.

What setting do you have it on? It sounds like you have the brightness turned up too high for the lighting conditions.

Yep, my ML3 did this if it was one setting too bright.

Looked cool IMHO, easy to get the dot centred in the dark with it.

Yeah, that was the case. Anything over 9 was too bright in the light setting I was in. Seems alright now, though the "blob" recticle is a bit annoying! haha
