It is budget time at work and I have to buy/recommend for purchase scopes for our snipers. Assuming a max of $1200-1300 what would you recommend. The specs we would like are: 3-4X on the low end 14 X or greater on the upper end side focus illuminated reticle exposed windage/elevation knobs mil dot or other type of mil reticle Of course it has to be durable and repeatable. Let me know what you think. I have my ideas, but want several different perspectives. |

It seems that the Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50 illuminated TMR would fit your needs. I have a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40 illuminated TRM with M3 knobs that I am very impressed with. Nightforce's 3.5-15x50 NXS is very close to your price range as well. You'd be very happy with either. -- John |
