| Are their mounts in the same class as LaRue or ADM ? They have some good deals on mount/Aimpoint pkgs. on their site but if the mounts aren't up to snuff .... I tried doing a gg&g search but nothing |

I have the GG&G cantilever Accucam Aimpoint mount. I used to have a LaRue cantilever mount. Both seem rugged and repeat zero very well. Both can be adjusted to fit out of spec rails. You need to be careful not to overtighten the rings on the GG&G. The only disadvantage that I can see with the LaRue is that the GG&G takes up a little more rail space. If that is not a factor, I'd recommend either. Another issue is that the LaRue levers can scuff the finish on some (cheaper) uppers. That would not be a problem with the GG&G. |

LaRue sells their own BUIS for the rear plus they carry front and rear flip up Troy sights with LaRue and Troy markings. All of LaRue's mounts are manufactured by LaRue. LaRue also manufactures quite a few items for military contracts and for other industry manufactures. If you are just looking for BUIS, the troy units are probably the best flip up design that are sturdy as hell and don't break the bank, but none of the good ones are going to be cheap. If you are looking for a mount, your money is better spent on a LaRue mount than on GG&G in my opinion. Sturdy design, yet light weight, very easy to operate quick release with lock and it won't wear out. Plus LaRue has a no questions asked lifetime warranty. Wes |
If you bothered to read it you would realize he never mentions them. He says SITE referring to a WEBSITE... For the love of god people he's not talking about SIGHTS. Just mounts. |
![]() jayhayman welcome to AR15.com Reading is fundamental, some of us suck at it and others of us do not. ETA: And yes, GG&G makes quality gear. I have had a few GG&G rear BUIS that were great. |
| GG&G sells good mounts. You wont be at a disadvantage owning one. I do love LaRue though and I wouldn't touch the ADM knock offs. If you had to choose go with either GG&G or LaRue. If you had to choose between those two go with LaRue. Again, either way you will do fine between GG&G and LaRue. |
