I have a Rock River full size A4 with a Rock River Scope Mount and Burris 2x7 fullfield scope (1 inch) with an ARMS BUIS. I would like to get a lighter and quick release mount and was looking at the LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT-104. What I didn’t know was the distance from the top of the rail to the middle of the ring because I am trying to determine if this mount would be high enough to mount the scope and still clear the BUIS. The current mount is about 1.7 inches from the top of the rail to the middle of the ring and there is still a gap of .35 inches between the scope and the BUIS so I know I could go lower. Also, if I went lower would the front sight present any problems as it is mil spec. Thanks for any quidance. |
