I got a buddy who is trying to buy one of the Aimpoint CompML3's and we were wondering what yall are using to mount them on your flat top receivers to co-witness with your BUIS....

I was thinking something like this, but would like some input, since I haven't actually had my hands on either product. It's a long way back to the factory from here, so I'de like to get the right part the first time!

Many thanks!

LaRue LT-150 or LT-129.  I have an LT-129 (the cantilever style) on the way from Bravo company, and an ML3 on the way from G&R Tactical.  I'll let you know how it works out, but after much research, I decided those are absolutely the two best options.

I've used both the Larue mounts and would recommend either one. Check here: stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Categories.bok?category=Optic+and+Mount+Combos%3AAimpoint  for combos that get you the sight and mount at a reduced price.

I use a LT-150 with my ML3. It gives a nice lower third cowitness for a less cluttered view.

+1 What Lonestar said, my setup exactly. Works perfectly and besides it's Larue!

Arms #22m68 extension will raise the mount 1/2" to co witness with the irons.

Here is a link to the Arms extension.
