It is one of two optics in final consideration for the SOPMOD bloc 2 optic along with the TA31DOC ACOG.  Concerns revolve around the ARMS mounts and the fact if grime gets in the lever and it cant close 100% you have a HUGE POI shift from 1X to 4X.

For that kind of money, I think I'd stick with the time tested ACOG.  Personally, I like the looks of the ACOG better as well.

Because we all know thats the most important factor.

I personally think the Elcan looks awesome, the price, not so much.  Though a lot of people that I've heard talk about it haven't been all that favorable.
