any thoughts on the fast fire sights from Burris. I was just about to purchase one for use on my ar. Thaanks, RG

I've got one on my TP-9 and it works well. The dot is plenty bright on the brightest of days and is quick to pick up. You would need a riser of some sort to get it at the right height.

How is the battery life on the Burris Fastfire?

I had a FastFire and Larue IronDot combo for a little while...
The optic seemed to be well made, and I highly recommend
the IronDot mount.

There were a few things I didn't like...
- I'm not a fan of automatic brightness control
- You have to remove the optic from the mount
to change the batteries, which would probably
require re-zeroing.
