I read the FAQ, and since I really couldn't get an answer to my question, I'm starting to think that I need to 're-think' my setup.  I have a RRA entry tactical, post-ban, with faux supressor removed and phantom 2C installed (thanks, ADCO).  I pitched the carry handle, mounted an Aimpoint M2 utilizing the mount that came in the box.  Now I'm looking for a BUIS in the event that the Aimpoint pukes, or I just want to plink with irons.
I'm just a plinker, and I'm not too terribly worried about co-witnessing.  If the SHTF, I'll center the front sight post, and hope for the best until I can remove the Aimpoint and fall back to irons, if necessary.  That being said, if their is a rear BUIS that will co-witness with my set-up, I'm open to that.
I'm primarily concerned with finding a plinker-budger BUIS that I can use when I remove the Aimpoint.  Seems that most only have adjustments for windage, and not elevation.  I'd like to be able to compensate for elevation.  Or am I missing the larger reason for elevation settings' absence on most BUIS?
So, if I can co-witness with my current set-up, what rear BUIS do I need?  If I can't, and I can have rear elevation adjustment, what do you recommend?  Thanks a bunch!

there are some that include elevation adjustments: KAC, Matech, LMT...

but the general consensus is that elevation is NOT needed on a "back up sight"...
you zero the elevation on the FSP and windage on the rear... BUIS are a "set it and forget it" deal...

IIRC, the aimpoint QRP mount will provide absolute cowitness, with the spacer it will be lower 1/3...

If you don't necessarily want a folding BUIS, consider the Rock River Stand Alone Rear Sight.  My experience with it has been superb.

I like the idea of the RRA stand alone sight.  Pretty simple and solid.  thanks
