2 MOA dot, slightly longer tube to accept flip-up caps. Mention of this model has been made here and elsewhere for a few months. When will it be available?

I sent an e-mail to Aimpoint yesterday and they replied with, "No plans" to make a 2 MOA T1 and from what everybody tells me, there is no need to make it 2 MOA because the dot is mroe compact than the old M2 4 MOA.

Any word on plans to make the optic tube slightly longer in order to work with flip-up caps?

"As I understand from an Aimpoint rep (I will not say who in case I am mistaken on my info) the T-2 will have a 2 MOA dot and longer tube. No ETA yet, as the diode for a 2 MOA dot in a Micro is different than all other models, and was in process as of my last info."
