Just when I had finally decided to buy an Aimpoint, I read about the EO Tech 516. I'm on the fence again(but that's another thread). What are the diffences in price of battery, and life of battery between the CR 123 and the AA batteries? Are people still haveing many reliabilty issues with the Rev F(sp?) EO Techs?

You'll definitely get longer life out of the 123A's, despite their higher price.

I'm choosing the 516 just because it's got commonality with my weaponlight.

Lithium 123s and litium AA have essentially the same capacity.  For example the 123 cell will be about 3V and 1400 mah and a AA lithium Energiser 1.5V and 2900 mah.  Voltage is generally higher than rated and the Energiser AA actually has a tiny bit more capacity overall when you halve it s mAh to get relative capaity at the same voltage.  Cost will be higher for the AA lithiums though.

So...

AA = higher capcity but more expensive.

Of course if you compare apples to oranges and compare regualr AA they are way cheaper and lower capacity but I dont think thats what was asked.
