who makes a good red dot for my M4gery that will work with my GG&G A2 BUIS say around $200

i'v been looking online and all the choices are a little overwhelming

i dont need top of the line or anything that is going to be submerged in water for extended periods of time, just something moderatly accurate

what do you think?

Look for an ML2 or C3 Aimpoint in the EE. Be patient and you will find a good deal on a good sight.

I have seen too many of the sights from the lower, and not so much lower, price point break or do weird things to comfortably recommend buying the cheaper stuff, even new.

I have a $30.00 BSA red dot on my Mossberg 590.  It has been there for years, I forget how many.  It keeps its zero and I would not call the battery use excessive.  The "dot" is clearly a cluster but that's the only down-side I have to report.   If it goes out I would have still have the bead.

On the other hand, I had a Colt M1991A1 that ejected its front sight post at the range one day after less than 2 years of owning it.  Now THAT would be a bad day in combat!

You get what you pay for?
