Is there a moderate price red dot that has magnification? Thanks.

Are you asking about a red dot with a seperate magnifier?  I'm not aware of any "magnified" red dots until you start getting into the variable magnification optics like the S&B Short Dot which will run you about 2K.

Larue is currently offering a "Po' Boy Special" magnifier that isn't too steep.  Get one of those and buy a used Aimpoint or EOTech off the EE.

Check the industry section under the Vortex header.  They are planning on releasing their StrikeDot site sometime in June.  2 MOA red dot sight with a screw on 2x magnifier.  Runs about $130.  American company, so if anything does go wrong you know right where to go, and who to call, and they support the site here.

Already have mine on order.

Other than that, you're stuck buying a red dot, and then getting a magnifier to put behind it, or going with an illuminated variable scope like the Millet DMS-1 which goes for a touch over $200, but that doesn't include the mount.  The mount can run anywhere from $25 - 210 depending on what you want.

Got one of them on order too, but its going to show long before the first one.
