Ok So I have not yet gotten my BushMaster O.R.C. UPS says Next wedesday.Anyway my problem now is I found Two different Optics I like but am not sure what one to Pick.
Bushnell Trophy 1x32 Riflescope Matte T Dot RED/GREEN
LINK

or

Barska AR-15 Red Dot Sight 1x 30mm Illuminated Tactical Reticle (Cross Reticle)
LINK

Both are ACOG style optics without the big price.
I will be adding Flip up iron sights later in a few weeks. And right now the Price of these Optics are on sale on most sites.
Has anyone used or have either of these.Could I get a opinion about them?

I have about 600-800 dollars I want to spend on it but Not at once.
And a real ACOG will have to come later, for now.

I only Outdoor range shoot, I don't hunt.

Thanks guys

The ORC comes pretty much ready to go.  Although the stock isn't anything that will turn heads, it is functional, as is the muzzle brake.  The only thing that you may "need" is an optic of some sort and possibly handguards.  For the budget that you stated, you could get both and have a bit left over for a couple of magazines and some ammo.

Of the two optics, I'd have to say that I'd go with the Bushnell.  Although I'm not a big fan of the one that you have referred to, I'd go with that before the Barska.  That having been said, you could get into a nice Eotech 511, 512 or 516 for around $400.  If you want to go magnified, the options are almost limitless.  For $500, I think I'd go for a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X-40, but then you'll need a mount too, which can be pretty costly.  A decent setup would be something like a Millett DMS-1 with a set of rings and a YHM riser at around $300 for the whole setup.  Personally, if I had to choose one optic for all around purposes, I'd go with a low magnification scope with a 1X setting that goes up to around 4X.  This will cover most shooting situations.  This is what the DMS-1 setup is.

I am planning on getting a better Optics later on down the road.Just not at this point yet.
Is it possible to put a 3x Magnifier in front at a Optics like these?

If limited to only these two, I would opt for the Bushnell.

Lot's of good info here.

I love the ACOG glass, durability, true adjustments, solid mount and durability. I dont much care what it looks like. It seems our priorities may be polar opposites.

Not really I care about the same but at the sametime, I want a nice look as well.
I love the EOtech 522 with a 3x mag as well.

I am going to get another AR for a Higher sniper like Scope and Look.

So I want a Nice strong Sight, with good looks.
