I wouldn't buy it for the $250 regular price, but for that $59.00 sale price, it might be worth a try.

Don't expect Burris or Bushnell 3200 quality, but otherwise, it could be a value.

I just ordered the 6-24 42mm fine crosshair myself.  Have you had an oppurtunity to mount and shoot it yet?  Great bargain price but I'm with you. is it also bargain basement?

I found this article on the web http://www.shootingtimes.com/optics/truglo_110106/index2.html

It states "Built on a 1-inch tube this model ..."
I asked the questions of TruGlo last night but I have yet to get a response. I was looking for battery life and also asked what happens when the battery goes dead.
When and if get those answers I'll share for sure!

I ordered the 6x24 midot. It looks nice optics seem clear.I have not sighted it i yet but in looks nice mounted on my Rem 700. It commes with 2 sun shades, I ahve never used one or really needed one. When would a sunshade be neccisary? There has never been a time when I could not see through my scope due to the sun. Is this common?
