Im deciding between the CompM4 or an Eotech 512. I was hoping to get you opinions between the two. Do you think the CompM4 is worth the extra $$$? I was just going to go with the Eotech, but I found a sweet deal on the Comp M4 for $650 and dont want to pass it up. What do you think? forums.second-amendment.org/index.php?topic=3276.0 |

Unless you need the M4's AA battery usage then I'd get one of the less expensive Aimpoints like the ML3 (you still get 5+yrs of 24/7 operation on a single battery). I prefer the Eotech's reticle but use the Aimpoint because of its proven ruggedness, KISS operation & extreme battery life. If you're on a tight budget then the Eotech is combat proven as well but w/more reported problems than the Aimpoint. HTH... Tomac |
