Hey everyone. New to the boards. I went through and did some manual and not-so-manual searching of the forums and haven't come up with any posts discussing the Insight Tech. ISM-V HERE. Has anyone had experience with these? Any thoughts on durability, usefulness, etc? Thanks for any help you can pass along.

Welcome to arfcom.

I checked one out at SHOT.  It seemed like a well built unit, and the dot and laser co-witnessed quite well past about 10 feet.  Both the dot and laser are also quite bright.

Personally, I don't have any use whatsoever for a visible laser [other than maybe teasing our house cat], but if that floats your boat, than so be it.  With an MSRP of $1300, the ISM-V does not seem to represent particularly good value when compared with an Aimpoint, and it has profoundly less run time.

Now an ISM-IR other the other hand would seem to be quite useful for those who use NV, but they are only available to .mil and LEO.  They are also extremely pricey, with an MSRP almost double that of an AN/PEQ-2A and an Aimpoint combined.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the info. I've been browsing around trying to get a feel for different optics.

Id stay away from an all in one unit. Its best to not put all your eggs in one basket...
