My 40 L was just delivered.  When it is deployed, it does not stand straight up (its not 90 degrees to the base).  Is this normal?  Also, has anyone ever accidentally deployed this sight and dinged the hell out of their scope?  thanks.

I run arms 40L and a Larue canti lever/aimpoint

so no DINGS

I dont think mine sits perfectly up

but I have had ZERO problems zeroing at 50yards

Mine has a very slight lean aft, maybe a couple of degrees.  Just barely enough to see when layed against a square.  Don't have the flip-up dinging issue with an EoTech.

It doesn,t deploy totally straight but holds zero like a champ.  There is no way on gods green earth that you could accidently deploy the sight.  I have two and had one on an issue M-4 and that is just not possible.  I have mine below a at the time 1000 doller Trijicon TA-31F and have never had the ARMS 40L accidently deployed.

Heres a pic because I like seeing my shit

Sounds good. I hope this fits under my Leupold MRT 1.5-5.  Thanks

No problems with the 9 or 10 I own. Did you get the L or the LSP?
