| I just went from a Bushnell M&P to an Eotech 512 on my RRA. While I think the Eotech is awesome and glad I made the purchase, the Bushnell did just as good as a job for half-the-price. Only real up side to the Eo is the reticle looks better shooting with both eyes open. I don't plan on selling the Bushnell since I will put it on my next AR and will always recommend it... |
What movie is that from? Mr and Mrs Smith? |
|
Yes, Mr. & Mrs. Smith , She’s going to be hit with brass!!
|
the scope is backward? |
When the cheap Chinese sight breas, that $250 won't seem like such a good deal. |
You managed to trump that, unless that carpet in your photo happens to be somewhere other than the floor. |
Wouldn't that be plural.....except for the quite attractive lady. |
Yep. Disrespect to the US flag. |
It’s not a table cloth it’s a photo prop! And an American one at that which I’m proud of!!!!!

That bushnell ACOG-looking thing seems totally ridiculous to me. I don't mind cheap red-dot sights (because they seem pretty basic), but that thing pushes the boundaries of pointless in every category. -It's specifically designed to look like a more expensive product -It has none of the features of said product -IT IS STILL EXPENSIVE in comparison to other similar products -It has a small rear lens so it feels like looking through a tunnel -All the extra knobs and screws that don't need to be there kill your field of view You may as well get a Leupold MK4 body with no internals and just look though it at your target. |
Partner, as much as you say your proud that flag, so am I. And as a veteran who served to defend everything that flag stands for, I say your wrong in displaying it in the manner you are in that photo. IMPORTANT DONT'S It is generally not desirable to fly the flag outdoors when the weather is particularly inclement because exposure to severe winds and rain may damage the flag or the pole on which it is displayed. Never in any way should disrespect be shown the U.S. flag. The U.S. flag should never be dipped into any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are dipped as a mark of honor. The U.S. flag should never be displayed with the union down except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property. The U.S. flag should never touch anything beneath it - ground, floor, water or merchandise. The U.S. flag should never be carried horizontally, but it should always be aloft and free. Always allow the U.S. flag to fall free- never use the U.S. flag as wearing apparel, bedding or drapery, festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds. For draping platforms and decorations in general, use blue, white and red bunting. Always arrange the bunting with the blue above, the white in the middle and the red below. The U.S. flag should never be fastened, displayed, used or stored in any manner which will permit it to be easily torn, soiled or damaged in any way. Never use U.S. flags as a covering or drapes for the ceiling. Never place anything on the U.S. flag. The U.S. flag should never have placed upon it, or on any part of it, or attached to it, any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture or drawing of any nature. Never use the U.S. flag for receiving, holding, carrying or delivering anything. The U.S. flag should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions, handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins, boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use or discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown. Never use any part of the U.S. flag as a costume or athletic uniform. A flag patch may be affixed to uniforms of military personnel, firemen, policemen and members of patriotic organizations. www.heritage-flag.com/heritage_etiquette.htm |

Thank you very much. That flag is the symbol of this country and stands for everything we believe in as a nation. Men and Women have died serving to protect those beliefs and that flag. To display the US flag in that manner brings disrespect not only to the flag it self but to all those who served and died protecting those beliefs we hold so dear.

You already have it, so take it out and shoot it. If it works for you then keep it. If it doesn't then either put it on your 22 or unload it. Quit worrying about what others think and just try it out. The time for others opinions was before you purchased the site, now that you have it, give it hell and post a review for others that may or may not consider getting one for themselves. The more you use and abuse it the better for the rest of us non snobbish glass types. You are already in it neck deep, you might as well start swimmin and see how it works out. |
| As far as accuracy it’s great I sighted it in on my Ar-15 and shot over a dozen great groups at 55 yards then took it right off and placed it on my Ruger 10/22 and with no modifications it was also dead on. I thought I was posting a simple question , I Didn’t Mean To Piss Off The Whole Board |
You're fine. Take a breathe. Move on. |
Not for nothing but the fact that you put that scope on another rifle and it was "dead-on" doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the scope. It just is what it is. |

I personally have the Tasco Propoint with Burris X-High Tactical rings 30MM and I bang the hell out of it and still on targethttp://www.opticsplanet.net/tasco-propoint-1x32-rifle-scope-pdts132.html http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w156/glockster357/IMG_1186.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w156/glockster357/IMG_1187.jpg |
You show me examples of photos in the AR GD that make improper use of the American Flag. And just because someone else does it does not make it correct. Your attitude towards the subject is exactly why no one gives a shit anymore about such things as respect towards our flag. I bet you’re the same guy that runs through the red light at the intersection simply because the guy ahead of you did it too. __________________________________________________________________________________ Sigmeister229 Your picture was inappropriate, you were respectfully and professionally shown why, and I thanked you for correcting it. Those of you considering turning this into a pissing contest picked the wrong guy. End of Subject. |
With those rings does it co-witness with a BUIS? |
Not sure of the question

After spending over $1800. On AR and upgrades I have to start somewhere and later get an Aimpoint…. I’m Broke!!!
|
|
Same here I‘ve bought a Sig Sauer 229 Equinox, S&W M&P 40 compact, Glock 21SF, Ruger 10/22 and A S&W AR-15 and lots of extras over the past 6 months costing over $3,800…. I’m Broke!!!!!!!!! Start at the bottom with optics and build up later . I’m getting an Aimpoint M3 or M4 next. I’ll be working overtime I hope |
Yes but WHY do they have to look just like the originals? Thats what I don't understand. I have no problem with cheaper red dots because I'm sure they work fine. But why does a basic red dot have to look like just a damn ACOG? Like I said I'm not trying to start crap with anyone just I beef I have with those manufacturers. |
