Hey gang,
I just purchased an ML3 and I can only see the red dot from the 4th setting and up.  Is this normal??? why 9 settings if I can only see 6 of them.  Please advise.

Are you sure sure it's a ML3 and not a M3?
On a M3 the first few settings are for night vision and wouldn't be visible with the naked eye.

go into a really dark room and look hard. Its there

Well, the sight is a COMP ML3 2MOA.  I did go into a dark room (as suggested) and checked for the different settings.  First click= hardly noticeable red dot (I mean, you really have to try hard to notice it) Second click and up, the dot starts to appear more clearly.  I think It may be my vision or something that is not letting me focus on the first couple of settings.  Either way, thanks for the quick response.

Normal, my C3 is that way.  Makes me wonder if on the lowest setting some night vision might work with it?

Not Gen III but perhaps some Gen II.  Gen III is bloomed out for sure.

I started a topic on this about 3 months ago.  If your able, do a search becasue it was an extensive thread with a lot of discussion.  According to Aimpoint it is normal.  Even they don't advertise it as such, the first 3 settings are for NV use.
