But my question is what mount should i get with it. Which woud be the best for my rifle that is a RRA CAR A4 with a ARMS 40  Low profile buis.    the short one or the Cantilever or the lower one??    thanks

Shoo with irons till you can save up for the real deal.  On a 10/22 I'd say go for it.  But with a sighting system you're better off spending the money up front for it.  The battery life on the clones isn't very good and the batteries aren't cheap.

i just want a mount that will put it right above the front sight i think.   I just want a cheap one, i'm not going to be using the rifle all the time. just to shoot tpaper on the weekends and to keep in the house.

cantilever or high mount....though again I highly recommend you wait and buy the real deal...they come up on the EE used sometimes at decent prices (around $225 sometimes).

me i like lower 1/3 because the FOV is clearer and if you need irons you drop your cheek weld down a very small amount (maybe a 1/2 inch).  I also like the heads up stance more.
