I am new to custom AR's, and i have been looking around for a "Grip Pod" at a decent price, was hoping you all could help me out. I would like it in the tan like color scheme like my ar below. I have no idea what the tan color is called, since i didnt build it. Thanks. http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/1245/1000273sr4.jpg Also, its not a big deal, but if u could point me towards a decent aim point or acog, that would help out too. Thank you. |

There is an optics mounts and Sights part of the forum that will be extremely helpful in your search for Glass. If you would like further input we will need you to narrow down your needs. Look around here and read the tacked threads at the top. www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=3&f=18 <-Click me Distance you intend to use your optics. Primary use of the carbine. (Range only?) (Field use) (plinking) Do you want 3x or 4x optics? If you are looking at Aimpoints you do not need to worry about the latest and greatest wiz bang model. Just choose if you want a 2 MOA dot or the 4 MOA dot. and then pick a model M2, M3, or M4 and do not spend the extra money on the Night Vision Capable models. Unless you intend to spend thousands on Night Vision equipment. With regards to the Grip Pod look in the industry forum here www.ar15.com/forums/board.html?b=2 I realize you will have no attachment to the forum it being your first post, but the venders listed help keep the sight running via their advertising and would welcome your business assuming they carry the grippod. If not just google it and find a sourse they should all be fairly close price wise I wouldnt spend too much time on that one low balling the price. Here is the Grip Pod site listing venders under the purchase tab. www.grippod.com/ |

I'll probably get crap because it's a copy, but.........![]() I got one of these, here ( click me) Used it in a match a week ago, and it held up OK, no complaints from me. I figure if it does break, it should still work as a vert' grip.....
