Just got one off of Ebay but it didn't come with a manual. What is the hex head screw under the up and down adjustment for?

Just like this one. If you have one you got to know what I am talking about. The newer ones look like they have a standard screw head. Mines a hex head.

It has nothing to do with adjustment. Probably holds something inside, or the top to the bottom. Don't fool with it.
