i've see the 552.A65/1..552.D1(single dot reticle)...552.XR308...552.XR500...but never seen a 552e....you have a link? |

The buttons mostly. The F's have easier to press rubber buttons. The E's and earlier had a film button. F's have a little lower current draw than E's, but with good Lithiums that is almost a non-issue. AA Lithiums will last a couple of years, but I change yearly regardless. A65 is the reticle type, circle with 1 mil dot in the middle. |

There are 3 main changes in the Rev F. Aside from the buttons, battery life was extended by 2x, and the reticle brightness was increased by 2x, preventing washout in very bright conditions. They claim battery life was extended by more than 2x at the brightest settings (battery life specs are all at setting 12). |
