I recently purchased a like new Eotech 512 but when I look through it the circle is very blurry/pixelated at all shades of brightness.  I have had scopes on other rifles without the cross hairs being blurry.  Is there something wrong the eotech or is there some adjustment I don't know of?

Thanks,
Mike

When I bought my First aimpoint the 3moa DOT looked like the letter  (  I )
But it was my eyes NOT AIMPOINT

I ened up tradeing it in for the New at the time ML2
The 4moa DOT  looks just fine and has ran great

I have a Eotech 551 on my Bach UP M4

The 1 moa DOT looks Fine
BUT the Circle looks broken up ( wich doesnt bother me at all)
Just look at the target

BTW  do you wear Glasses

If you wear glasses it can make the reticle look fuzzy.  I have reading glasses and with them on the reticle looks fuzzed-out.  Without the glasses, it's perfectly clear.

GOOGLE Astigmatism dude. You may have that. i sold a brand new 552 to someone on here and he bitched me out on sigforum for supposedly selling him a defective unit before he checked his facts! that pissed me off.....turned out he has astigmatism and didnt know. Someone else looked thru his 552 and it the reticle was clear to him. You will have to sell it as you are not compatible with it.
