There are many Aimpoint clones (some decent quality, too), but I'm having a hard time finding Eotech clones.  Anyone?

I havent seen any clones, but bushnell has a holosight.

There was a thread a while ago about this.....

I think I would prolly buy a used "real" eo before a fake one.......

Hmm.  I'd like to get a real one, but the budget doesn't agree.  I've been looking on the EE for deals, but they rarely drop below $200.

I just bought a G&P 511 clone for $54.99.

It's got a 65moa ring and a 5moa dot.

I'll give a review when I get it.

Here is a link for a pic. of the recticle. (The thread is about 2 different clones, the one on page 3 is the G&P)

* Even though it's only a reddot and not a true holosight, I doubt I could of gotten anything better for $54.

That acutally doesn't look too bad, that would be the tits for a 22lr AR.

Not something I would take into battle or use as a LEO.......

But for goin' to the range and killin' paper....why not?

As long as it can hold a zero and I can see it clearly in Daylight, I will be taking it to a Tactical Carbine course, and that should be a good test of it's durability.

I haven't had any problems with a Holosight.  I've got one mounted on a slow-fire M11 and it hasn't had any issues.

The only "problem" I'd note is that it seems to slowly drain the batteries when not in use.  I've started removing the battery cover when in the safe.

From what I understand, EO makes the Holosight for Bushnell.

I've got an Eotech 512 revision F on my Bushy and a AA Bushnell Holosite on my H&R single shot 12 gauge Ultra Slug Hunter.

I've never had any problems with either, the push buttons on the Eotech appear to be better sealed than the membrane type switches on the Bushnell, but other than that, and the steel hood on the Eotech, they appear to be exactly the same.

I've never had any problems with the AA lithium batteries self discharging with either.

FWIW, I believe that the Bushnell Holosite predates the Eotech.
