Just mounted a 5-20x44 Nikon on my RRA varminter.  I got the EOP platform to give myself some extra room under the scope, but the scope is larger than I really appreciated before I mounted it.  I can only hook one side of the charge handle with one finger, and only from the side.

Started shopping for a new latch/charging handle that will let me cycle the action more accurately and the Badger Ord. Tactical Latch looks like the best bet so far.  Anyone else shooting with high power scopes got recommendations other than the Badger latch, or is that the best grip I'm going to get?

Pics showing the problem:

I use a badger, but check out the PRI Gas Buster. Their a
little pricey, but people seem to like them. Also a forged
charging handle helps too.

It looks to me like the Badger Ord. latch will work best for your setup.

ETA - I use the Badger latch with my 3-9.  Everything else has the PRI big latch (1.5-5 and irons).
