so i've been looking to get an ar for quite a while now. finally just sealed a deal w/a seller on here for this rifle. http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=21&t=478420 now i've got a few questions i'm hoping ppl can give some input on. i'm definitely wanting a scope of some type but: 1) not sure whether to go with eotech (or similar) vs aimpoint (or similar) 2) was wondering if there's a big difference between actual eotech/aimpoint vs clones and knockoffs (such as bushnell's holosite or their mp trophy 1x32 acog clone) 3) as far as eotech goes, what's the big difference btw the 511, 512, 551 and 553 models? 4) was wondering what type of mount/accessory i would need to mount onto the rifle 5) what i'd have to do in order to be able to co-witness w/the flip up sights any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. |
