Ok, I've been looking at getting a TA31DOC for quite some time and now that I'm getting fairly close to affording it, I noticed the newer TA31ECOS... I did a little homework and from what I can tell, the ECOS is on ARMS mounts, slightly shorter in length, .1 oz lighter, a few hundred $ more, and colored FDE instead of black... Does anyone else know anything that differentiates the two or any reason to recommend the ECOS over the ACOG? |
| Reticle is different, the windage and elevation caps are teathered, it has an Amber lit reticle, vs the red, and it lacks BAC (fiber optics). Get the TA31DOC. I love mine, and liked the red vs. the amber. The ARMS mount sucks, but with the DOC, you can use the money for a larue mount. |
