[ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOtech battery compartment

I can't seem to remove the battery compartment on my EOtech. After lifting the cam lever, the directions say it slides out and up? What am I doing wrong? Thanks

The very first time I tried to open the battery compartment of my EOTech, it was very hard to open. It seems like the o-ring seal is quite tight around the edges. Just work at it sliding out first then when the seal is broken, it will be easy to lift it out. Don't try to pry it open your you will screw it up. Good luck.

lift the lever all the way up and pop the cover off like you own it.

Once the lever is open, the initial force applied shoiuld be "out" (parallel to the barrel) rather than "up".

You might have to shimmy it forward and back before pulling it out diaganolly.

I had the same problem.. was scared to force it out so wiggle it forward toward the front of your gun and then it will pop loose, then rotate it up.
