| I am using a Troy flip rear sight and a Samson flip front sight. Went to the range and it shoots low @ 25yrds. I cant drop the front sight post anymore. Still shoots low. I am using troy rails on my RRA .223. I would think this combo should work fine? Seems like a standard setup to me. Any ideas? |

Just to make sure. Is the foldiong front sight made to be mounted on the handguard rail or a railed gas block? Also, how low is it shooting? Are we talking inches or feet lower than the point of aim? Not tyring to insult your intellegence but you may want to make sure. |

It is a rail mount front flip...at 25 yards it was a good 6 or more inches low. I know it wont be right on at 25 yards, but I thought that was a bit much. I need to shoot it at 50 yards and see what happens. I measured from the top flat part of the rail to the center "hole" in my troy and from the rail to the front sight post and it is close to around the same distance. Weird. Here is a pic of my setup...I didnt use the suppressor when zeroing. http://home.comcast.net/~euscegu/carlAR.jpg |
