I'm trying to get a rough idea what an original Colt 4x20 carry handle scope might be worth.

It has the Colt name on it, has the JCII sticker, and attaches directly to the A-2 carry handle.

about 2-250.00, but mostly pruchased by those building an old A1 replicas.

I think they were made by Hako in japan .I bet a Colt marked one in pristeen condition would be worth what ever a Colt lover would part with .
