Has anyone tried this in 30mm or 1inch?

I know Promag generaly makes junk but I dont want to splurge 200.00 for a SPR mount from Larue for a 200.00 scope

The mount is more critical than the scope. A sub-par scope can do ok in a good mount, but even a great scope will do poorly in a bad mount.

I don't have any info about the Promag mount specifically, but I'm just suggestiing looking at it from that direction. Instead of buying a mount worthy of the scope, consider starting with a cheap scope and good mount, and moving up eventually to a scope that's worthy of the mount.

Good point, I have a DMS-1 now I gotta figure out what to put it in? The owner of Millet gave me some of their new grabber rings to tryout but I would prefer to use a mount of some type that is alittle higher.

Reviews only give it 2 1/2 stars. Thats darn low for Midway reviews.
