I purchased a IOR 1.5-8x26mm a month of so back, super nice scope, had it on my FM PBR 16" bolt gun. Nice combo, did under 1 moa at 200 yards, held solid as a rock. So happy when I needed a new scope for my Noveske SPR upper I got another IOR, this time the 2-12X32. Just as nice, these guys make some nice glass. I did a swap and took the 1.5-8x26 and put it on the Noveske and the 2-12x32 went on the FN PBR. I highly recommend IOR to anyone who appreciates a good peice of glass. Well worth the cost, but shop around, you can save some cash if you shop around a bit online. |

Not really (although on the brightest setting you can tell it's illuminated if you're not looking at a super-bright surface), which is what I prefer. If it's day time, I'd rather have a non-illum reticle. |
+1 i've got both a illum and non-illum--both are great; the illum can get pretty bright |
| If you are looking for a daytime illuminated reticle the IOR scopes dont have this feature. It is noting like S&B's projected dot or the illumination of Meopta's Kdot. It is not bad for night shooting but not a day time illuminated reticle. This is not a BAC capable scope like an ACOG. THat is the best use for a bright reticle on scopes over 1X minimum magnification IMO. |
