I have an opportunity to buy a used TAO1NSN at a very fair price. I plan on using it on my A4 20" government profile upper. If I recall, the TA01NSN was developed for the 14.5 M4 barrel. Will this optic work on my 20" upper? I shoot at 200 yards maximum in case that matters. Also, we typically shoot at 4" square blocks at 200 yards. I'm not expecting the rounds to touch each other. I just want to make sure that if I do my part, the optic will allow me to hit the block at 200 yards. Thanks in advance. Gary |

If you have it on a flat top upper, and use m193 ammo(55grn) it will be close out to 500ish yards. Using wolf, I can hit a 2 foot round steel plate at 565 yards yards with my bushy tax time upper and TA01NSN as long as I do my part. However I have to use the 600 yard line on the acog. |
I doubt I'll get the opportunity to shoot at 500 yards....
