I currently have a AA EO Tech.  I'm in the process of building a SBR and will most likely put the EO on it.  A friend has the Reflex but I haven't got a chance to shoot it yet.  I know the differences in the two but I'm asking which one you would prefer.  I know the Reflex has a history of washing out in the sun, and all.  Also what is your opinion on the Chevron recticle.

I'm planning on using it on my team, entry.

I had a reflex, and while it is good, the Aimpoint and Eotech are so much better.  I ended up replacing it with an Eotech 512.  You will need to look at the pro/cons of the eotech and aimpoint and decide for your self.  But I would recommend either over the reflex 2.

If you have the eotech, use that.  I wouldn't buy another reflex2, because:

1  They do wash out
2  Unlike Acogs, Trijicon will not replace the tritium, its cheaper to replace the whole thing
3  Aimpoints and Eotech are better optics, IMHO.

As I said, the reflex sight is a good functional sight, but the aimpoint and eotech would most likely serve you better.

I second all of the above. Go with the EO and you'll be a happier man.

Thanks for the opinions.  I guess that is what I wanted to hear, just needed to here it from someone else with expierence on the sight.

I have used the Trijicon Reflex and liked it until I found out about the wash outYou completely lose your reticle at times especially when moving through a doorway from a brightly lit area into a dark room.  I imagine that would be devestating for an entry team member. Good luck.
