Good link MrWilson, most all of the subject matter is covered there, but I'll chime in with my $.02 I prefer the Eotech, only because I like the larger field of view (IMHO) and the dot in circle aiming reticle over just the red dot. I find in outdoor sunlight that the Eotech is easier for my eyes to locate over just the Aimpoint red dot. |
+1 I acquire targets much faster with my eo-tech than with my aimpoint. But the long battery life on the aimpoint makes life alot easier for me,plus its still fast in its own right, but sometimes I lose the dot when trying to make quick aquisitions. Some would argue the eo-tech recticle is to busy but for me it works but thats why I got both. You will never know which one is for you untill you either buy both or try both out on a buddys weapon etc. Good luck either way you cant go wrong
