I'm changing a carbine sized handguard for a medium sized RRA free float quadrail by way of a low-pro gas block.  I would like to mount a flip-up front sight directly to the top of the handguard instead of mounting one to the barrel.  Does anybody know of a sight that would work for this?  I assume it would have to be a little shorter than one that attaches to a rail/type gas block.  Also, would this cause accuracy problems (e.g. if the rail flexes it changes point of aim)?

Thanks, DOC_2009

Troy, Knight's, Samson and PRI just to name a few. I have the PRI and prefer it to my old Troy.

If they are back-ups I wouldn't worry to much about them shifting.
