I have what I beleive is a eotech 552 but it is laser engraved 554 on the hood.  It was manufactored in 2004 so its fairly new. Can anybody clear me up on what model I have?

You have a "hardened" version of a 552 made for the military. They're great.

The 554 was made for a SEAL’s as I recall they required a different battery settings & deeper water proofing.

I looked around but only found a 554 that had the arms throw levers. This one has the standard mount.  Is it still a 554?

is it worth more, less or the same as a 553?
