| What do you think of the DUAL COLOR / MULTI-RETICLE RED•DOT SIGHTS? I dont really get it. Are they selectable on the fly or do you have to insert something? Does the color matter? Would love to hear from someone who has one. Also considering the Trijicon TriPower Reflex Sight or even a Trijicon Compact ACOG. Would LOVE some help here..... |

Great for Paintball! I use one on my new Tippmann X7 Paintball gun! The multi-reticle works by using the round switch on the side. On/Off/Intensity switch is on top. It was on one of my .22/.410ga survival rifles but I thought it would be "cooler" to mount on a paintball gun for the effect. The mounting screws are HORRIBLE, btw. Not for mounting on a tactical weapon but adequate for my .22 and now my Tippmann. The dual-color helps a bit - depending on the light situation. I used green for low-light and red for daylight. The multi-reticle helped (a bit) with .22/410, because each shoots differently. It wasnt the best method for shooting the 410 but it was better than trying to use the "dot" for the shotgun pattern. Now, it works for the way paintballs are shot from my pb gun indoors (something like a 1ft pattern at 25ft - not exactly moa). Good luck! |
