4X or thereabout you see a blur on the bottom, turn up the magnification and it'll disappear altogether.  A scope mounted so high as to clear the FSB probably doesn't give you a good cheekweld.

You'll learn to ignore it.  The only time when it bothers me is at night, when the front sight has a Trijicon night sight and I use my 4X32 ACOG, I see a blur of green on the bottom

I just got done mounting a 4X scope on mine. mounted directly to the flat top there was a blur in the bottom half but could be dealt with. I then mounted it on a 1/2" riser in order to clear a folding back up iron sight and cant see anything now.
